Forms of hemoglobin

A
  • Sulfhaemoglobin (H2S): Greenish → Fades
  • Methaemoglobin (Fe2+ & Fe3+): Dark brown
  • Carboxi-haemoglobin (CO-intoxication)
    • Cherry pink discolouration, clearly visible in the brain
