1
Q

What arteries arise from the right coronary artery?

A

Acute marginal branches
AV nodal artery
Posterior intraventricular artery -> posterior descending artery

2
Q

What arteries arise from the left coronary artery?

A

Left anterior descending artery -> septal + diagonal branches
Left circumflex arty

3
Q

What is the venous drainage for the heart?

A

Most venous blood goes into RA via coronary sinus

Some venous blood goes into Thesbian veins into all 4 chambers

4
Q

What are the layers of the heart?

A
Endocardium
Myocardium
Epicardium
Visceral pericardium
Pericardial cavity
Parietal pericardium
5
Q

Which valves are semilunar?

A

Aortic + pulmonary

6
Q

Which are the AV valves?

A

Tricuspid

Mitral/ bicuspid

7
Q

Describe the sympathetic innervation of the heart

A

Innervate SA + AV node, myocardium + vasculature

B1 + B2 receptor stimulation lead to increased HR, vasodilation + increased SV

8
Q

Describe the parasympathetic innervation of the heart

A

Vagus nerve innervates SA + AV node

Parasympathetic innervation via muscarinic receptors = reduced HR + SV, vasoconstriction
