What is the difference between anatomically short and physiologically short?

A

Anatomically short leg is actually shorter than the other due to fracture or some other disturbance during growth. Physiologically short leg is one that appears short due to pelvic misalignment

For every 5mm of misalignment, 2mm will be corrected

A

Deficiency of 7mm or more, not holding adjustments, lumbar body rotation on side of short leg, the high side of the rainbow is on the short side
Main consideration= whether or not patient is holding their adjustments
