Persistent inability to attain + maintain an erection sufficient for sexual intercourse

Neurogenic (MS, Parkinsons)
Anatomical (Peyronie’s disease, hypospadius)
Hormonal (hypogonadism, thyroid issues, Cushings)

Drugs (antihypertensive, antidepressants + APs)

Obesity, DM, dyslipidemia, metabolic syndrome, HTN, endothelial dysfunction, lack of exercise, smoking

A

Lifestyle measures

PDE-5 inhibitors (sildenafil)

A

No surgery if pt has forme fruste (incomplete hypospadias) that doesn’t affect voiding or sexual dysfunction
