Transplacental - causes stillbirth as well as neonatal sepsis/meningitis
Found in various foods eg soft cheese and pate

A

Let pus out if it is there - drainage

Antibiotics - ceftriaxone and metronidazole empirically, modify in light of culture. Treat for 6 weeks
