Chronic (>3 months) widespread body pain syndrome
in the absence of other causes

What are the features of fibromyalgia?
A
Chronic widespread pain - left and right sides, above and below the diaphragm
Sleep disturbances
Unrefreshing sleep
Fatigue not relieved by rest
Associated conditions: IBS, vulvodynia, interstitial cystitis

What are the management options for fibromyalgia?
A
Non pharmacological (patient and family education, CBT, exercise) Pharmacological (TCA, Pregabalin, Gabapentin, Tramadol)
