How did he achieve Anschluss?

A

Austrian chancellor appointed nazi (seyess inquart) to a position of power
Discovered hitler was going to overthrow so had a meeting to prevent further trouble.
Also announced he’d be holding a plebiscite to see if people wanted to stay independent.
The next morning German troops absorbed Austria into Germany.
