About Constitutional Law on Brainscape

What is Constitutional Law?

Constitutional Law relates to the interpretation, application and amendment of the US constitution. Many constitutional legal issues involve the Bill of Rights. This does, of course, make up the first ten amendments to the U.S. Constitution which include the right to a fair trial and freedom of speech.

Constitutional Law also involves the rights and powers of the branches of government; each branch of government has distinct powers and responsibilities and Constitutional lawyers help resolve any disputes. They also help their clients bring Constitutional Law claims to court.

Law students who love politics and want to make a difference in society should consider this branch of Law. To find out more about Constitutional Law then check out The American Constitution Society and The Center for Constitutional Rights.

Learning Constitutional Law

Constitutional Law students need to commit an almost impossible amount of Case Law to memory; they must also get to grips with legal frameworks and fine tune their critical thinking skills. With so many rules and terminology to recall, Brainscape makes THE perfect supplementary learning tool to cement the key principles of Constitutional Law.

There are thousands of Constitutional Law flashcards on this page or link to other Law pages such as Human Rights, Civil Rights, Tax Law, and Criminal Law. Before practicing, however, Constitutional Lawyers must pass the bar exam. Check out the ultimate bar study guide with over 2400 flashcards prepared by top attorneys and legal experts, at the top of the page.

Learn Faster

Brainscape offers students the opportunity to learn twice as fast and remember longer. Challenging traditional learning methods, Brainscape has broken new ground with its extraordinary learning engine.

The Confidence-based-Repetition (CBR) system contains three scientifically proven learning methods: active recall, metacognition, and spaced repetition. Uniquely, the CBR algorithm is driven by the learner’s metacognitive responses allowing for precision flashcard delivery and optimal learning.

To get started just choose a deck from below such as Federal Judicial Power or Executive Power and dig in! Alternatively, revamp your course notes and learn the smart way by clicking on “make flashcards” at the top of the page. Good luck!
