What are some causes of E.M.

A

EM minor, mostly HSV, Mycoplasma

EM major Most drug reactions: Sulphonamides, Phenytoin, Barbitrates, Penicillin.

Erythema multiforme major symptoms

A

Severe skin and always mucous membrane involvement. Tendency for lesions to become confluent and form SJS or TEN.

Conjunctivitis, keratitis, tracheitis, meningitis, renal injury, GI injury.

A

an inflammatory reaction pattern of subcutaneous fat, forming painful subcutaneous nodules, usually on the lower legs.

What causes Erythema nodosum

A

Many kinds of infections - streptococccal throat and respiratory infections
Mycoplasma pneumonia
Sarcoidosis
Tuberculosis

Drugs: OPCs, usually after recently starting. NSAIDs,

IBDs, ulcerative colitis and Crohns.
