NSTP

In this lesson, we will discuss the legal, historical, and moral background of National Service Training Program (NSTP). We will start with the constitutional and legal foundation of NSTP. We will explore different good citizenship values that justify why wee need to do community service as a form of national service. We will revisit various laws implemented before NSTP requiring Filipinos to do national service. Lastly, we will define community service and its different forms.

This module discusses the concept of discovering oneself in terms of potentials, capabilities, and approaches in the assumption of role as a key player towards social transformation. As an NSTP-CWTS student, you owe it to your community and the country to contribute to uplifting the lives of your less privileged brothers and sisters. This can only be realized if you are truly aware of what you can share to our society.

This module presents the current social issues and concerns that our country is facing: substance abuse, national threat and security, environmental protection, and disaster management. Each topic will be explored by identifying the causes and effects on our society.
