subfalcine herniation

A

when cingulate gyrus herniates underneath the falx cerebri

uncal herniation

A

uncal region moves to area between cerebellum and brainstem to the tentorium cerebelli

18
Q

3 complications of the uncal herniation

A

1-
2-
3- eyes down and out due to compression of CN3
