A

pt seated, stabilze anterior tibia. then grab back of calcaneous, push it towards you, then away

positive: translation of talus
- translation of talus anterior is instability of anterior talofibular ligament
- posterior translation is post talofibular ligament instability

A

attempt to dorsiflex with knee extended
attempt with knee flexed
-can’t dorsiflex either way= soleus
-dorsiflexes with knee flexion=gastroc
