- Delay occurs and atrial contraction begims
- Contraction continues, impulse travels along septum within the AV bundle branches to Purkinje fibers to the papillary muscles of right ventricle
- Distributed by purkinje fibres and relayed throughout ventricular myocardium
- Atrial contraction completed and ventricular contraction begins
