Use change sets to move customized Tableau CRM assets between orgs that have a deployment connection

EXAMPLE
Create and test a Tableau CRM app in your Sandbox org, then migrate the app assets to production

Assets in the Private App aren’t available for change sets

How to Migrate Assets (Source Org)

Answer 2

• From Setup select Outbound Change Sets and create new
• Click Add in the Change Set Components section
• Use the Component Type drop-down to select and add your Tableau CRM assets to the change set
  - Each asset type is prefixed with “Analytics”
  - You must add dependent dataflows manually
  - If you add a dataset to a change set, the assoc. dataflows are not automatically picked up
• Click View/Add Dependencies to ensure all dependent assets and appropriate permission sets and profile settings are added
• Click Upload and select your target org

How to Migrate Assets (Target Org)

Answer 3

• From Setup, select Inbound Change Sets
• Find the change set you created from your Source org
• Validate and deploy the change set
• If you included permission sets and profiles in the change set, make sure the right users are assigned

The target org must allow inbound connections

There must be a deployment connection between the two orgs
