3. Number of fire extinguishers used

Oven Fire

Answer 4

1. Turn off the oven - pilot must switch galley power off
2. open door slightly
3. insert the nozzle - discharga short burst
4. close the door
5. wait one (1) minute
6. reopen the door slightly
7. establish if the fire is extinguished
8. repeat the procedure until the fire is extinguished

Waste Bin Fire

1. Open waste bin flap slightly
2. insert nozzle / discharge short burst
3. close waste bin flap
4. wait one (1) minute
5. reopen the waste bin flap slightly
6. establish if the fire is extinguisehed
7. repeat the procedure until the fir is extinguished
8. saturate the contents
9. remove the contents

Lithium Battery Fire

1. Disconnect device from power source
2. discharge fire extinguisher
3. saturate with cold water or non-alcoholic liquids
4. once the device has cooled, immerse in cold water
