Epinephrine Class?
Sympathomimetic, catecholamine, inotropic agent, vasopressor, antidysrhythmic bronchodilator (C)
Epinephrine Indications?
Epinephrine Mechanism?
Acts directly on alpha and beta receptors of the sympathetic nervous system to increase inotropy, chronotropy, dromotrope, automaticity, systemic vascular resistance, and bronchial smooth muscle dilation; decreases vascular permeability.
