Ask them about the role of a lawyer

Ask them if they understand the plea/ its implications

Ie guilty or not guilty and what that would mean

Comprehend the course of proceedings in a trial

Ask if I know what happens in a criminal court

To know that you can challenge a juror

Ask about the role of a jury. Also that they have the right to request different Jory if I believe selection is unfair
