Used after 16 weeks. Laminaria given 12 hrs before and prostaglandin e2 (vaginal suppository) combined with feticidal solution. Requires overnight stay

Used up to 7 weeks. Requires physician visit for pill and prostaglandin is given. Monitored for 2-4 hours to verify complete abortion

Normal symptoms after abortion
