MODERATE HF bibasal rales normal BP S3 gallop tachypnea or R sided CHF (venous or hepatic congestion)
risk of mortality - 10-20%
Killip Class III
SEVERE HF
mid-basal rales and pulmonary edema
S3 and S4
NORMAL BP
risk of mortality - 35-45%
Killip Class IV
shock w/ SBP <90 mmHg and evidence of peripheral vasoconstriction
peripheral cyanosis
mental confusion and oliguria
risk of mortality - 85-95%
