• formally: Esterman binocular VF test by Humphrey
• informally (most common): extending your arm so that it is slightly behind the pt’s head while you hold a target. Ask pt to tell you when they first see your target as you begin to move it towards the midline. Record angle (most commonly est to be 90 deg)
