What is the function of monocytes?

respond to inflammation and antigenic stimuli. phagocytosis.

How do platelets adhere to vessel walls?

Von willebrands factor is found in the vessel wall and is exposed in damage. vWF contains factor 8.

What are the functions of platelets?

adhere to vessel wall, secretion of ADP and fibrinogen, aggregation, activation and release of coagulation factors
