can be given in MI when undergoing a Primary PCI

History of heparin- induced thrombocytopenia (low platelets)
clinically significant bleeding e.g. peptic ulcer
interactions
thrombolytics e.g. TPA
NSAIDs e.g. aspirin
systemic glucocorticoids e.g prednisolone
side effects
increase in liver enzymes
haemorrhage thrombocytopenia allergic reaction headache urticaria (hives) and associated pruritus
