- COUNSEL the patient about domestic violence.
- After counselling, make evidence of the abuse (notes, photos)
- Make a safety plan with the patient (brochures about emergency numbers, safe places)
If patient DOESN’T admit to domestic abuse:
-Take evidence of the abuse.
-Try to establish rapport and hope that patient will confide with you regarding the abuse
- Give brochures if necessary
