What is imagery?
Imagery is creating or re-creating an image in your head and then replicating that image in performance. This imagery should involve as many senses as possible to encourage emotions around said imagery; visual from internal and external perspectives, auditory and kinaesthetic.
When can imagery be performed?
Imagery can be performed before, during or after an event
Why is imagery used?
Imagery is used because it improves the athletes confidence, motivation levels and decreases stress and anxiety.
