Theory is that the aircraft is cool enough, so air circulates around the cool aircraft skin, and is then vented into the cargo and underfloor compartments

Theory is that the aircraft is not wanting to lose pressurisation so only a small flap lets air out

A

Fault light on the extract and override push buttons

What is the theory of the smoke configuration?

A

All valves close except for the air conditioning valve and the small flap in the outlet valve, so air conditioned air enters the avionics and then is extracted via the outlet flap, removing the smoke.

The Skin Exchange Isolation Valve is closed as we dont want to reintroduce smoke to the avionics
