Pectoralis Minor
Location: muscle inserts upon the coracoid process of the scapula
Coracobrachialis
Location: originate from the coracoid process
Short head of the biceps brachii
Location: originates from the coracoid process
Trapezius
Location: shown inserting on the lateral third of the clavicle
Deltoid Muscle
Location: lateral third of the clavicle
Pectoralis Major Muscle
Location: cross the belly of the biceps brachii muscle to insert into the bicipital (intertubercular) groove of the humerus, where it is joined by the insertions of the latissimus dorsi and teres major muscles
Teres Major muscle
Location: A small segment is evident as it passes forward from its origins at the inferior angle of the scapula
Serratus Anterior
Location: inserts along the entire vertebral border of the scapula
Rhomboideus major and minor
Location: insert along the vertebral border, below and above the scapular spine respectively
Given the names because their shape is similar to a parallelogram
Levator Scapulae muscle
Location: inserts along the vertebral border of the scapula, btwn the superior angle and the spine of the scapula
Subscapularis Muscle
Location: originating from the subscapular fossa and becomes one of the four rotator muscles (Supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres minor, subsapularis)
